On the beaches of the Great Lakes - beneath the sand, rocks and driftwood lies treasure. Glass, ceramic and stone tumble along the lake floor and ride the waves to the water’s edge. Lake Erie, one of the five Great Lakes of North America, has been the scene of hundreds of shipwrecks throughout the years as the water can get quite treacherous and wavy. Aside from the occasional romantic note in a bottle... the ship casualties that happened on Lake Erie could be the source for some of the beautiful beach glass that still washes ashore to this day.
We walk along the shores of Lake Erie in hopes of discovering these polished beauties. Our beach glass collection features finds from our days of beach combing. After a big hull, we hand select, drill and embellish each piece.
