Espresso Spice Rub

Just the right amount of espresso powder adds depth, umami flavors, and almost a bit of smokiness to this chili rub. It is replete with a variety of chiles, garlic, onion, and more. Use this anywhere you might use a chili powder. We love it as a rub on any kind of meat or fish, though our favorite use is in chili and stews. Or add to a bloody mary for a lovely kick.
